Course Description:
In the fast-paced digital world, it's either disrupt or get disrupted. Thus, public sector leaders need to undergo metamorphosis in order to not just keep but actually get ahead of the curve using digital technology. They must become digitally literate, develop an adaptable mindset, and embrace new tools in order to conquer digital challenges in the public sector landscape.
This workshop aims to enable participants in appreciating and embracing digital leadership especially in transitioning to the new normal towards strategic leadership and management and organizational transformation.
Target Participants: 100 Public Sector Executives, Managers, Directors, and Division Chiefs or those in equivalent positions.
Performance Objectives: Participants shall be able to transition to the new normal by appreciating and applying strategic digital leadership in their own workplace.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course the participants shall be able to:
1. Appreciate the relevance and significance of transitioning into the digital era;
2. Discuss the characteristics of leaders in the digital era and their critical role in transitioning their respective units to the digital world;
3. Identify the tools and applications necessary in digital leadership;
4. Prepare and commit to implement action plans that will strengthen the leadership in the digital era to ensure swift and smooth transition in their own workplace.

About the Kwentong Lingkod Bayani
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) through the Civil Service Institute will be conducting its monthly forum on values program showcasing the exemplary performance of government civil servants demonstrating the public service values on Patriotism, Integrity, Excellence, and Spirituality (PIES).
It is during adversities that individuals and organizations are often challenged in terms of fortitude, resilience, and character. It surfaces the values that are being upheld and championed, which becomes the driving force of individual and organizational persistence towards achieving goals.
The Kwentong Lingkod Bayani will serve as an avenue of insightful sharing of individual and organization experiences and best practices in terms of PIES. The event is targeted to be attended by public servants of government agencies nationwide. This is also the call to civil servants to imbibe change and transform every Lingkod Bayani into PIES Advocates.
More specifically, the Kwentong Lingkod Bayani episode aims to:
1. Appreciate the importance of accepting, applying and advocating the Public Service Values; and,
2. Adopt best practices shared by different Agencies.

This workshop aims to enable participants in strengthening and harnessing the core values of a Public Servant: Patriotism, Integrity, Excellence and Spirituality (PIES) especially in this time of pandemic for the enhancement of their organization’s capability in pursuing strategic leadership and management.

DEVELOPMENTAL CONVERSATIONS FOR LEADERS (COACHING THE COACHES THROUGH DEVELOPMENTAL CONVERSATIONS)
Course Description:
Developmental conversations, in terms of coaching and mentoring, are workplace learning approaches that enable individuals to realize their full potentials. This is a blended course that will guide the participants to effectively conduct developmental conversations with others using a structured approach. This particular course uses group mentoring/coaching to develop mentors/coaches by handholding them through the various stages of the process.
Target Participants: 300 Executives, Directors, Managers, and Division Chiefs or equivalent positions (first come, first served basis, subject for approval based on target participants)
Performance Objectives: Participants shall be able to effectively conduct developmental conversations with others using a structured approach grounded on generally accepted principles, processes and practices related to mentoring and coaching.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course the participants shall be able to:
1. Appreciate developmental conversation as an effective workplace learning approaches;
2. Connect with a potential learner to start a series of developmental conversation sessions;
3. Contract with learner to establish learning objectives, level-off expectations and sign off agreements ;
4. Clarify goals, issues, concerns and decisions of learner;
5. Challenge, critique, contribute ideas and create insights to deepen learning;
6. Connect learner to resources and opportunities that will further support learning;
