| SUBJECT : | Filipino Food Month or Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino in April 2023 |
Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 469, s. 2018, the Department of Agriculture (DA) shall lead the annual Filipino Food Month or “Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino” Celebration in April 2023.
With the theme “Pagkaing Sariling Atin, Mahalin at Pagyamanin", the celebration aims to appreciate and preserve our vast culinary traditions and treasures to benefit future generations, and to support the various industries, farmers, and agri-communities which benefit therefrom.
To promote public awareness in the observance of the event, all government agencies are encouraged to extend their full support through the following activities:
- Display of the 2023 Filipino Food Month poster or banner;
- Reading of Proclamation 469, s. 2018 during the first Monday of April flag raising ceremony; and,
- Participation in various Filipino Food Month activities.
